A New Question

I decided I would try to encourage some more discussion on this blog with a new question. It would be nice if we all wrote a response, and I hope our readers will feel free to comment and add their own thoughts.

The Question: What humors God, and how does Man skew humor with sin?

  1. That's a good idea and a good question. What humors God? Do you mean what gives God joy or what?

  2. What causes God to laugh? Laughter is a common human activity, but the subject of humor is wide-ranging. Also, laughing is simply a reaction to emotion, like smiling, crying, fighting, etc; all these actions may have multiple emotions as their cause - a man may smile because he's proud of his son or because his enemy lies helpless; he may cry for sorrow or for want of pity; he may fight to defend the innocent or to destroy a man in anger. Likewise, laughter exists, and my question is which causes of laughter are aligned with God's will and purposes for humor, and which are derived from human depravity. How do we monitor what humors us?
